Privacy Policy

Text entered in a worksheet generator is used in your browser to render the preview and create the printable page or PDF. WriteSprout does not send that worksheet text to a WriteSprout server, and the custom product-analytics events described below do not include it. The site does not require an account to use the generator or keep a server-side copy of the worksheet.

You can use a first name, nickname, or practice word. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information or student records when it is not needed to make the worksheet.

WriteSprout uses Google Analytics to measure page visits and how the worksheet tools are used. Product events can include actions such as starting, generating, printing, or downloading a worksheet; selected worksheet settings; and error categories. They do not include the text typed into the worksheet.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers and may process device, browser, and site-usage information under Google’s service settings and policies. The current site tag enables analytics storage by default and the site does not currently show an on-page analytics consent or preference control. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides abrowser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

The Feedback link opens a Google Form. Information you choose to submit there is handled by Google and is subject to Google’s terms and privacy practices. Shared documents open in Google Docs. Product-directory badges and other external links may also connect your browser to third-party services; those services have their own privacy practices.
